Its The Most Wonderful Time


Being asked to be a Guest Designer always gives me a buzz and I'm always grateful for the opportunity.


This month I'm playing along with the ladies at Christmas Craft Creations where the challenge theme is Blue and Silver.

This colour combination is delightful so out came Colorado Craft Company's Big and Bold Winter Wishes Snowflake...


Pretty straight forward, started by blending Distress Oxides in mermaid lagoon, blueprint sketch and hickorysmoke.  To that I added a few water splatters and some silver Gansai Tambi splashes.


Once I was happy the background was completely dry I stamped the huge snowflake slap bang in the middle with Versamark and heat embossed with silver powder.

The small sentiment is from Clearly Besotted matted onto non-shed silver glitter card.

Finally I added a trio of silver sequins and get me, a Christmas card made in February!

    Fantastic card, Claire. I love the brighter center, darker edges. You mixed the colors perfectly to get this effect. A banner with sentiment on a silver brocade frame perfectly finishes the card
