Frightful Birthday

Well hello... I've finished my husbands second birthday card that will come from my son, yep as always its a nod to All Hallows...

This card came together quite quickly as I'd got a clear idea in my head of how I wanted it to look and its pretty much there.

The cute ghosty and sentiment are from Sugar Pea Designs and everything else is from Tim Holtz.

I started by mixing texture paste with Distress Oxide hickory smoke and roughly laying it through the stencil.

I coloured the ghost with Prisma pencils, embossed the sentiment with white onto black cardstock and cut out the dies adding black sparkle to the bats.

Hopefully this year we'll have a few little ones trick or treating and no matter what we'll be carving pumpkins and adding a few spooky friends to the front of the house, if only to make passerby's smile :)
