Latte Birthday Wishes

Autumn has definitely arrived here in the UK, its cold, wet, the heating is on and the cat refuses to go out so its time for a nice warm drink...

I love this bunny called Sprinkles from Your Next Stamp, I smile every time I colour him with his bottom in the air slurping the last drops of coffee from the bottom of the cup.

Tell me that image doesn't make you smile?

So I stamped Sprinkles with Ink on 3, the pumpkin on the cup is from another stamp set as I wanted a pumpkin latte for him.  All coloured with Prisma pencils in neutral colours.

The sentiment is from the same set as Sprinkles and decided to give it a splat of spilled latte using ground espresso Distress Oxide with a Funky Fossil stencil.

OK I'll own it, I'm a middle aged child and couldn't resist the urge to add a pompom :)

Challenges

CASology - Spice
Sweet Stampin' - Use Your Old Stash (Sprinkles is over 5 years old)
Day of the Month Card Club - International Coffee Day
CAS on Sunday - Autumnal (spiced pumpkin latte is Autumn, right?)

Now the ladies over at As You Like It would like to know what we do when we're not crafting with paper/card.

So when I have time or its a special occasion I tend to sew and these two gnomes were made as an Anniversary gift for my parents to accompany a gnome card here.

Needless to say they were well received and my sewing held up, phew :)

  2. This card made me smile most definitely! And I myself am a grandma/child who happens to have a small stash of tiny pompons in the drawer right next to me! I love the image of Sprinkles, and there are days when I wish I had a cup of coffee just that size to settle into. You've colored him beautifully, and I'm loving the splat beneath the sentiment. Darling gnomes, too. Your parents were more than delighted to receive them, I'd say! Well done you! Stay safe and warm. Bev
