Oh Happy Day

When I saw this weeks colours at Color Throwdown, I had to smile.  We're planning on decorating our living room later this year and my colour swatches are yellow, grey and white so I had to play along...


I've watercoloured Altenews Precious Peonies after embossing in white.

 The background is texture paste through an Altenew stencil with matching splatters.


The die cut sentiment has been gently blended with Distress Oxide in hickory smoke before removing from the cardstock.

 To finish I added a few pencil strokes here and there.

    How gorgeous is this card with such a wonderful color scheme? It will look fabulous in your upcoming redecorating project too! I love love love the embossing paste background with the spatters that add the perfect amount of texture, and embossing the flowers in white gives them a true yellow color! Just beautiful!! I love this!
