Hang in There

Todays card was supposed to be a Father's Day card but I'll be honest, the recipient, ahem hubby - annoyed me on Friday so I changed it up lol.

I took inspiration from CASology and Color Throwdown using Honey Bee Oh My Whiskers set coloured with Prisma pencils.

The kitty isn't actually attached to the kite I added him after and then fussy cut the image out as a whole.  For the cloud panel I die cut a rectangle from copier paper and stencilled in tumble glass Distress Oxide for a soft sky and stamped the sentiment along the edge.

Kitty is adhered with 3D foam for dimension.

On another note, I'm using the new Blogger and oh sh....ugar it might take me a few posts to get back up to old Blogger speed but I do think it'll be better.  Now if I could find the spell checker it would be beast!

  3. This is just adorable! I love the little cloud panel that holds this kite and the kitty is just too cute with a great sentiment! Fun little card for sure! I tried the new blogger once, and although I never reverted back to the legacy format, the posting interface went back to the old format, while the reading list and comments remain the new format. I wanted to learn the new format since I have plenty of time to do that, but posting cards remains the old format. I did use the new one once, and then it switched back on it's own. I think I have devious little gremlins hidden inside my computer trying to confuse me on a daily basis.........and it's working! Ha!
