Phew, there doesn't appear to be enough hours in the day to do everything I'd like too but I did manage to make a card this morning which will work nicely with the snippets challenge over on Pixies Snippets Playground.

The last time I crafted, I discovered my 'Smile' stamp from Heidi Swapp as well as many other forgotten goodies.  I should perhaps loose items more frequently to uncover these little lost gems of craftiness.  Anyway I decided the next card made would feature the stamp and so it has...

I'm hoping the card makes you smile and as a cat lover I thought it would be cute to feature a little birdie and a cat watching a butterfly fly away. Everything on the card is from my box of scraps so it fits purrfectly into challenge :)

Supplies: White textured cardstock, Bazzill green cardstock, Heidi Swapp 'Smile' stamp, Spellbinders Springtime, Your Next Die Doubled Stitched Hills, Magnolia Paris Night (cat) and Sizzix Garden Greens dies, Stamps Away butterfly stamp, MFT Cloud stencil, Whispers blue ink pad and Hobby Craft clear gems.

  1. Super card, Claire. I love the scene you've created and the Smile stamp is really lovely. x

  2. What a fun little kitty, and everything else looks super cute on this card! Way to use those scraps!

  3. Hi Claire, a super card for a friendly card, love the smile stamp, it almost looks like a die cut sentiment, the kitty seems very focused on that butterfly, love the selection of flowers and greenery you have made from your snippets, you have given the little blue bird a safe haven... thank you for coming along to play with us again at Snippets Playground this fortnight, good luck in the draw, have a wonderful week... Megan GD

  4. Great card - Megan said it all for me!

  5. Managed to follow you now albeit incognito. Blogger has decided to add me as my name and not Mrs A. But it's me all the same. Love this card with the little butterfly just fluttering by. Hugs Mrs A.
p.s. There are Ice creams behind the bike sheds in the playground. We bribed parsnip with a huge cornetto to stay stump but if Miss asks we know nothing why he has a coffee coloured bib!

  6. Cute scene card, Claire. It definitely made me smile, but probably not as much as you when you found "forgotten" craft supplies. 😉

  7. What a super card Claire. Love the kitty and fabulous use of those snippets xx

  8. Sweet card--that cloud stencil is on my wishlist!

  9. You've created a lovely little scene with your card Claire. It's a super card. Barbxx
