Wishing You Christmas Cheer

Time to play at Kraft Chicks and the theme is Christmas so no excuses for not taking part this week :)

I've used a brand new stamp set from Stacey Yakula for MFT...


As always, stamped and coloured using Prisma pencils adding a few snowdrifts here and there.


I knew as soon as I saw this tree that it would look fab with actual pearls and gems as baubles instead of colouring them so that is what I did.  The pearls look a little green but they are a nice blue to match my bunnies outfit.


The sentiment is from the same set, embossed in gold and I finished off with a few white highlights and some sparkle to the star the little robin is carrying.  I assume he's a cardinal as MFT are American and we don't have those pretty birds here in the UK so he's a robin.

    Wow! This is so sweet! Your coloration is awesome. I just love it. Today I've coloured some motives. I was proud to my skills until I saw your masterwork. :-) It is great idea to put pearls and gems on the tree. Your card is perfect.

    That tiny tree is beautifully decorated with the pearls and gems and I love that everything is grounded in some subtle snow drifts! Beautiful coloring and a wonderful design. In the stamping world, a bird can be anything your heart desires! A bluebird would even be appropriate and cute, but I like that darling little robin you colored! Well done!
