So excited Lori from Krafty Chicks asked me if I'd like to be Novembers Guest Designer and of course I said yes :)
The first challenge is Stamp Act so as long as your card features a hand stamped image or a digi image you're good to go and this is my inspiration for the theme...
My card is twinkling with pretty fireworks and a cute moose because...
In the UK today we celebrate Bonfire Night when The Gunpowder Plot by Robert Catesby & Co was foiled in 1605. Although I think over the years the celebration has been lost but at the time it was to stop the persecution of Roman Catholics by the English Government... I might be a little biased to the celebration as I'm Catholic.
Anyway onto my card using Sugar Pea Designs Easily Amoosed and created a warm little scene.
I stamped all the images first and embossed the fireworks in gold and silver. I then masked a rectangle and blended Distress Oxides in blueprint sketch and tumbled glass and spritzed with water.
Finally I coloured the little image, giving him a nice glow from the fire and added a grass patch to ground him.
The sentiment is from the same set.
