I've used the sketch from Fusion for inspiration (lacking creativity just lately) and used Altenew Painted Butterflies in two shades of pink. I knew when I first saw the sketch that I didn't want to use patterned paper and settled on texture paste. I masked off an area for the butterfly to nestle in before applying the paste, its a bit off but hey its handmade.
I added a good helping of sparkle and the sentiment is from the same set.

ReplyDeleteThe texture paste looks great - lovely card. The cooling off is a bit of a relief but it's a shame we have to go straight from too-hot-to-move to too-wet-to -leave-the-house!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Jo x
