With Love

For ages now, I've been wanting to colour this Wild Hibiscus from Altenew in shades of blue and I finally got round to doing it this week.

My kick start to doing this card was the colour challenge at Color Throwdown, I just love the cool mix of blues together.  I've used alcohol markers and matched the butterfly which I'm sure, if my memory serves me correct that there is a blue butterfly here in the UK.  The sentiment is by Stamping All Day and stamped using stone grey Stazon.  I also added a little shadow under the Hibiscus to anchor the image.

Just to finish off I added a touch of Wink and some pale blue pearls and foam mounted onto the card base.

And now, just because I'm so extremely proud...

A photo of my eldest son after he graduated with 1st Degree Honours from Bradford University on the 18th July and is now a Bachelor of Science... and he bloody smiled for the photo - RESULT!
