Love You

Well... my mojo hadn't just disappeared this last week it buggered off completely for awhile there!  Its still not functioning on all cylinders but I have finished a card without the desire to throw it in the bin like its predecessors.

A simple CAS design with a peek-a-boo frame and a scrap of vintage patterned paper with script.  I die cut the heart and fussy cut the butterflies out by hand and if I was to be my usual critical self I'd say the butterflies are too dark but hey it survived my ruthlessness :)

I coloured it with alcohol markers and added a very simple sentiment.  There has been Wink of Stella added to the heart and butterflies but I had to wait for the postman to come and long gone are the days when Royal Mail deliver happy mail before you get up and it was too dark to re-photograph.

  1. I really like this fun design with those pretty butterflies and framed text. The little red heart and sentiment are all this needed to finish nicely :)

  2. I like it Claire! It is similar to one I have made for hubby (yet to be blogged...he might peek). We must have similar tastes and ideas.

  7. I like the simple design and think it's great. I wish mojo would not come and go like that it's most disconcerting. I have yet to make a valentine and am now running out of time.

  9. I think this one is gorgeous! The butterflies are definitely not too dark and remind me of these gorgeous little guys I see at the butterfly garden. We're always our own worst critics. I think this is a classic, timeless design! Thanks for playing along with CASology!

  10. Well if you made this without the help of mojo then I should just go and sack em right now as you don't need them at all. Love those butterflies BTW. Hugs Mrs A.
