Hello, its been awhile...
My husband asked me to make a card for a work colleague to give his wife on there anniversary and after a few WhatsApp messages I had an idea of what I was aiming for...
Unfortunately I took this photo and sent the card on its way before actually uploading the images and for some strange and unknown reason it looks a little blue.
I so need to fix my DSLR... can't use this compact camera at all.
Now I have to confess, this is way too soppy for me... I prefer a little more cheek!
Right then, the image is from Altenew called Precious Peonies and stamped with Ink on 3 and coloured with Prisma pencils.
The sentiment is from My Favourite Things just stamped with hickory smoke and spun sugar Distress Oxides.

ReplyDeleteHey stranger!! It's good to see you making a card again - I've missed you :) This is a real stunner and when clicking the photo to enlarge, the details show your beautiful coloring of those flowers! I love that there's no black outline around them, and I have never mastered that coloring skill yet! It's a beautiful card, and will be appreciated for it's beauty I'm sure! It's a gift all by itself! Take care and enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteI know such surprises perfectly well that the photo turns out to be not very perfect, and the card has already traveled around the world. But I can imagine its actual colors and I am delighted.

ReplyDeleteBlue or not, this is gorgeous! I believe your flower coloring is as beautiful as your animals too. It is unfortunate when we take photos and trust they'll be ok, but we're all human
