Hugs on Your Birthday

Phew!

Warm enough for everyone here in the UK?... I LOVE IT :)

I've used the sketch from Fusion for todays card.

With heat being very prominent at present I decided on a hot design.  The dragons have been coloured with alcohol markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.  Distress reinkers were used to create the blown effect down the side in Fired Brick and Wild Honey.

The same colours were used to ink the 'hugs' die, clear embossed and matted onto two black layers.  The sentiment is from Avery Elle and to finish I added some sparkle so the flames dance in the sunlight.

  2. Very clever, Claire! I like the flames going to the dragons for a change! My favourite thing is that gorgeously coloured and glossy 'hugs'. Thank you for joining in the 400th challenge celebrations at The Paper Players.
