Sending Birthday Wishes

Next week is my eldest sons 25th birthday, not sure how we got to a quarter of a century but here we are...

He's very much like me in almost all his ways and he's definitely not one for a soppy card so out came the Whimsy Stamps Wonky Donkey.

I first started with the 'birthday' sentiment, stacked three times, coloured with a blue ombre effect and then heat embossed with clear sparkle powder.

The donkey with attitude and teeth was coloured with Prisma pencils and fussy cut out adding a touch of glossy accents to his eyes.

I attached him using a mix of red liner tape and 3D foam pads so it gives the impression he's really reaching out of the card sending the wishes which come from a Lawn Fawn set and stamped in grey.

  8. Fun! I love this wonky donkey, and a less less sop is good for a male, especially at his age, coming from mom. Great card, I love the differing dimension of the donkey too. HB2 your son
