Happy Anniversary

Gosh... September already and apart from December its my busiest month for celebrations.  

This is for my parents and earlier this week I spied the new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and used that as my starting point.

 I die cut the hearts, masked a strip and splattered it with gold paint.  I've replaced some of the hearts and added a bit of Wink, which in hindsight I really dislike... sigh! 

The focal heart has been heat embossed in gold and the little brads have been coloured with a Sharpie pen.  I faffed about with the sentiment for way too long and after much chuntering to myself I just stamped it in black a few times using a stamping platform.

    This is a fantastic anniversary card and your parents are going to love it! Is it their 50th with all the gold accents? Regardless of how many years together, this is just beautifully crafted and made with love. I Love all the hearts.

    Oh Claire this is so beautifully made. Such clean and simple layout but pulling a huge punch. Everything just falls into place perfectly. Love the gold splats and how the gorgeous sentiment mingles in it. Oh and those hearts really are such a beautiful touch. A truly treasured piece here. Congratulations to your parents on such a wonderful and special celebration.
