Snowflakes Are Winter's Butterflies

For the last week I've been pondering CASology's cue word CRYSTAL and my first thought was a chandelier but I couldn't come up with a design then last night I had one of those moments and today I made this...


Do you get it?

 Yup, snowflakes are made up of tiny ice crystals... et voila :)


I've stamped the snowflakes from Uniko in Distress Oxide tumbled glass, spun sugar and shaded lilac.  The sentiment is heat embossed in silver to give a nice shine and because silver and pastels always look pretty.



I've finished the card off with a few co-ordinating gems and pearls for added sparkle.

    Loving your gorgous CAS card claire, the snow flakes are so pretty, I get most of my ideas late at night while layed in bed listening to hubby snoring his head off lol then when morning comes I can not remember what I thought of haha.

    I love the way you think things through, and of course snowflakes are crystal! Brilliant! This is a simple yet oh so elegant design with the silver embossed sentiment and all those delicate snowflakes in pastel colors! Gorgeous CAS card!
